Guys. I have always loved the country. I grew up in the country in a small town of New York, where had more cows on our road than neighbors. When I was growing up, it wasn’t uncommon for my mom to have to brake for pot-bellied pigs that were hanging out in the middle of the road and have ducks chasing and clucking after our car as we were driving.
Yes. Country. Rolling green hills. Neighbors you can’t see. Space. To breathe fresh air and not have to worry about parking. Yes. Love it. Sign me up. Every Day Of The Week.
So of course since I grew up watching the grass grow and never having to think about changing out of my bathrobe to go check the mail, I wanted a similar experience for my children. 😊
…So are you wondering if we live in the country? Let me answer that by telling you a story from my day:
My kids and I were driving to “the city” to go visit some friends. While we are at a stop light (*I’d rather stop for pot-bellies bellied pigs any day), I hear my oldest son yell out excitedly from his car seat to his brother: “Look Taytor! A Taxi! We’ve never seen one of those before………. Oh yes we have- in Boss Baby!” (A movie).
I am laughing to myself and thinking “we don’t get out much!” 😂😂
I am absolutely country and I absolutely love it.
– And besides, we get to see John Deere Tractors, cows and horses on our road ❤
